Booking & Cancellation Terms

These terms explain how bookings, the booking fee, cancellations and payments work at The Massage Clinic, a mobile massage therapy service run by Laura Occhionero. By booking a treatment you agree to the terms set out below.

Booking fee

A 50% non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your booking - half of your booking total, including any add-ons, so you will see the exact figure before you confirm. The remaining amount is paid at the end of your session by bank transfer.

The booking fee is paid by bank transfer - we do not take card payments online. Laura sends you the bank details by email once you have placed your booking, and your appointment is confirmed only once the booking fee has been received.

Cancelling, amending & rescheduling

If you wish to cancel, amend or reschedule your booking, please do so up to 48 hours before your appointment. A full refund of your booking fee will be issued upon request. Otherwise, your booking fee remains on your account as a credit that you can use at any time towards future bookings, subject to availability.

Failure to provide 48 hours’ notice may result in the loss of your booking fee. In this instance, please call Laura on 07828 923731 if you wish to cancel, amend or reschedule your appointment with less than 48 hours’ notice.

Cancellations are handled personally by Laura - appointments cannot be cancelled through your online account. You can also reach her by email at laura@themassageclinic.co.uk. Please give as much notice as possible so the time can be offered to another client.

Packages

All packages must be purchased in full and in advance, before the first appointment. Your credit is recorded and reduced after each appointment.

Payments & invoices

All payments must be made by bank transfer. Invoices can be generated upon request and used to claim a refund from your insurance.

Consultation form

Before your first treatment of any service, we send you a consultation form - normally by email on the morning of your appointment. Please complete it before arriving; if you are unable to for any reason, there will be time to do so at the start of your appointment.

The form lets Laura check there are no contraindications to your treatment and tailor it to your needs, and it is a legal requirement for our insurance. You can of course refuse to provide the information, but we would then regretfully have to refuse your treatment, and refusal to complete a consultation will result in the loss of any booking fee paid, for which no refund will be given.

Mobile service & travel areas

The Massage Clinic is a fully mobile service. Laura visits homes and hotels across Kingston-upon-Thames, the KT and TW postcodes and Greater London. Prices vary depending on your location; please contact us for an exact quote for your address. Please ensure there is a suitable, accessible space for the treatment to take place.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version, with the date it was last updated, is always shown on this page.
